Lately, Arties been falling asleep almost every day. As TheBronxMan noted, “Artie fell asleep today about 3 hours into the show.”
Breaking news at 9:22! Howard busted on Artie for sleeping and said it was “serious!” Artie was sleeping on the couch. What’s going on?! This must be somehow related to drugs he’s taking. They even took a break because of it.

Yesterday I basically said that the shows do run long and Arti getting tired towrds the end of the show was somewhat normal. I’m retracting that. Now he’s tired all the time, and it seems that he’s falling asleep daily. WHY? Howard almost strated this argument, but never went anywhere with it.
I don’t know how many of you remember when Howard FIRST announced the idea of the Howard 100 News, but what I remember is the following: The original intention of the Howard 100 news would be to focus on the main members of the show - what they’re doing after the show, what’s going on in their lives, etc. WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS ORIGINAL PREMISE????!!!!! I only ask this because of the current situation with Artie. Howard asked Artie why he was so tired, and what’s he doing with his day. BUT YET THE HOWARD 100 NEWS IS NOT FOLLOWING HIM!!!! WHY??????!!!!! Of course, there’s the personal line they don’t want to cross, but if any story needs to be followed, it’s this. NOT BIGFOOT.
Am I right?

I didn’t listen to today’s show yet, but even yesterday, something was up.
Artie came back late from the break in the middle of Howard talking to Eric from the biggest loser. His SPEECH SOUNDED REALLY OFF several times after that. He started becoming REALLY TALKITY and some of the things he was saying SOUNDED WEIRD. Also during the breast feeling segment someone commented that Artie had REALLY BAD BO.
Also, with only about 10 minutes left of the news, he claims he HAD TO CRAP SO BAD that he had to get up quickly and use the bathroom. He had to go so bad that HE COULDN’T WAIT 10 MINUTES.
Does Heroin give you the runs?

No. Heroin makes you constipated. As does Cheese and Meat ( as in a Meatball Parm ). Im not sure about sugar and High Fructose Corn Syrup, but maybe Arties eating would override the Heroin constipation OR more likely suboxutone ( or whatever it is ) is mixed with a laxitive knowing that Opiates make you constipated. Thats too funny when people out of the blue have to take the worst shits.

Wow, i’m listening to an mp3 of todays show, the segment where Howard is on the phone with Ted Nugent after Artie was napping on the coach.
He is REALLY SLURING HIS SPEECH. I’ve never slured my speech from being tired.
Go back and listen to this. When Artie first comes back into the studio he can barely form a sentence.

Subutex, suboxone, heroin, and/or opitaes make you CRAZY constipated. To the point of not going for days (maybe even a week) on end. So the fact thet he took off to goto the bathroom in the middle of the show and couldn’t wait 10 minutes…maybe he’s popping pills other than opiates (xanax, etc.).
I’m really starting to think it’s a result of anti-depressants. They make you crazy tired and you stay regular when it comes to shitting.

Todays show was all about Howard getting engaged, so when he asked Artie about what is going on, there was no time to talk about it.
The next time I call in, and I call in a lot, I will ask Howard to confront Artie about what the hell is going on, and to dedicate some real time to it instead of brushing it aside.

OK, so Artie was asleep around 2hr 55min mark ( approx. ). Right after the break with the Soundgarden “Black Hole Sun” song. Robin accused him of snoring during the talk with Bubba right before the break. After he woke up he sounded a little slurred.
