It’s not over till it’s not over. errr… something like that.

As I said in my last post, I was going to stop posting until Artie shows signs of possible drug use again; and I did. But I’m already posting again. As highplains noted, approx. 2hr 33min into Thursday’s show, Artie started to fall asleep! He claims he got tired because he ate too much sugar in the morning and crashed after the sugar wore off. Was he just tired, were his blood-sugar levels low, or was it possibly “something else?” I’m not going to jump to any conclusions as of yet, but I’m going to be on close watch and I’ll be sure to post any findings.

Anna Nicole should’ve hung out with Artie.

I am 100% sure Artie is on Suboxone. I can tell you first hand the drug makes you so relaxed that you can fall asleep very easily.
So I don’t see anything wrong here and just hope Artie stays on the drug it will help save his life.

One more thing,,,,I think Arties eating problems comes from taking another drug,,,,perhaps a bipolar or antidepressent. Most of these drugs will make him eat 24/7 and gain weight.

yeah.. something is improving his mood, but if Suboxone is like an Opiate that will prolly make him happy cuz he’ll have the ‘buzz’ going.

Artie said something to the effect of “Listen guys, I’ve got like ten minutes until this sugar high wears off” earlier this week, referring to all the bullshitting that was occuring during Robin’s news.
THANKS FOR KEEPING THE SITE GOING!

Um, Suboxone is partly an opiate, and it does not make you fall asleep, it makes you feel as if you never took any drugs ever. and I think that is the best way to describe it. People are runnin with my suboxone thought, I LOVE it!

I was “late” signing up here, so I have to ask, what exactly is “suboxone”, and did Artie even specifically mention it? As I recall, the only anti-heroine drug Artie mentioned was “Subutex”. Is this what you guys are talking about? Or did I miss something?

BFBL, from what I understand, someone uses Subutex to get over the initial withdrawal affects of heroin. Then, Suboxone is used for maintenance afterwards; helps keep the cravings away. But don’t quote me on it. I would normally look it up for you, but I gotta run. Check something like www.wikipedia.com or www.mayoclinic.com for a more accurate answer.

Got it, and thanks. HOWEVER, did Artie HIMSELF mention he uses suboxone? Or is this speculation?

When Artie puts his sunglasses on those are the days he falls asleep.Keep an ear out for the mentions of Artie wearing his shades.

He definately looks to be nodding of in those things. Funny.

No guys. suboxone and subutex are basically the same drug, one(suboxone) just has another drug in it Buprenorphine or something along that spelling. This keeps the user from being able to get high off shooting the drug, and also prevents Overdoses on the drug. It does not make you feel high, you feel happy and normal(i guess that could be considered a high). But theyu are the same thing, one DOES NOT go from subutex to suboxone for maintenence. and thats that

OK, I get it. But WHY does everyone keep referring to suboxone? Did Artie actually say it himself???? I can’t get a straight answer about that.
February 11th, 2007 at 10:33 pm
Artie admitted to taking Subutex, but I don’t think he ever said anything about Suboxone. I think Suboxone is mentioned so much because they are so similar… or at least used for similar problems.

Jopa: WRONG. Suboxone and subitex both are buprenorphine. Suboxone has naloxone in it that can only be taken sublingually (under the tongue). If you eat, snort, or boot suboxone, the naloxone throws you right into withdrawls.
Sometimes I think Artie just mentioned subutex because they gave it to him once. I don’t think any doctor would use subutex as a maintenance drug. I don’t think it’s legal too. I don’t know man, maybe he’s going back and forth between H and subutex.

I thought it was kinda weird that ARTIE WAS SO QUICK TO TAKE OFF HIS SHIRT when everyone was being weighed…..since he had talked about several times before about not liking to take his shirt of in bed or the pool.
He was also, once again, wearing his dark glasses during this Howard TV segment.
