Well… it’s actually Monday night but this post is for Tuesday’s show.
Anyone that listened to Monday’s show knows that Artie is back after a “rough” time last week. You also know that Artie had a great time in Vegas and was in great spirits. If you think back to how he acted last time he was on Heroin, you’ll remember that he was very sick (while detoxing) and perfectly fine once he started taking the Subutex. Over the past 2 weeks, I’ve seen almost the exact same pattern. Check out the “Audio” page and think about it… exact same voicemails as last time! Although Artie says he was honestly sick, I can not help but believe he was once again trying to detox from the big H and had to take the Subutex.
Also, check out this info from “The Suboxone Directory”…
A Suboxone or Subutex detox treatment is best started once withdrawal has begun, and your dose is adjusted over several days.
IMO, this would explain why he was out for two days. He had to start withdrawal and the adjust the dosage the next day. What do you guys think?

Man, you’re probably a good fella and I know you’re a big fan of Arite but I think this whole pattern thing ur playin on is full o shit. You’re taking it too far, I really don’t think Artie’s on drugs……let’s make a friendly wager on it……hey, I got Paypal. I’m throwing $100 bucks down on Artie just being fat and depressed last week and wanted to rest up so he could kick ass at the Luxor in Vegas and have a good time both nights afterwards. Artie’s the fuckin BEST.

It does look like Artie ran out of Suboxone (Subutex is used only the first few days of treatment and then Suboxone is used for the rest of the treatment). But you only have to be clean for a minimum of 12 hours to start treatment.
There are only a handful of doctors that are certified to prescribe Subutex/Suboxone and it is very closely monitored.
Maybe Artie ran out and could not find a doctor to give him the drug.
In my opinion with Arties background being on drugs he probably will have to be on Suboxone for the rest of his life.
This has been said before, its a miracle drug and anyone out there that has a problem with opiates get your ass to a doctor, this drug makes you feel great and you have NO urge to take opiates.

I agree with “thebronxmann”. If you run out of Suboxone, you will go through withdrawls similar to heroin since Suboxone is a “partial agonist”, which is technical for: has some of the effects of a full blwon opiate. This includes some of the withdrawl effects.
This COULD be it. However, “jobiwan” makes an excellent point as well. He may have been burnt out from working such a grueling schedule. His health is at an all-time low and his career seems to be at an all-time high. He’s probably exhausted as hell.

You make a point and you COULD be right so I’m not ready to throw down $100. I’m a huge fan of Artie but I created this site to sorta play devil’s advocate. IMO, it’s better to bring attention to the possibilities rather than totally dismiss them.

I’m a big Artie fan and on Monday, I couldn’t resist trying some Heroin,
after hearing Artie rave about how great it feels.
Artie is right! I felt so great.
I’m sick today but I can’t wait to try it again.
I know it’s dangerous so I am only doing it on the weekends from now on.

I find Artie’s food addictions more humorous than his alledged drug use. WHY NOT FOLLOW UP ON THAT, site creator? Count the calories, fat content, ect.
