Thursday’s Show - Artie’s back - Voicemail analysis!
Posted by: russ138, in Unknown DrugsNEW NEWS: I now have up the voicemails Artie left when he was detoxing from Heroin AND from this week. I ran the voicemail samples through some clarity filters and then some fairly sophisticated decomplexing frequency algorithms. THE RESULTS ARE IN:
- High-low medium analysis shows consistant levels
- Bit-depth conversion factoring shows no signs of change
- Several bit-level multi-band reverb passes show large gaps in voice sincerity
I also put some some sound clips of the voicemails after tests were done. Definately check them out so you can see for yourself

Artie is definately back “on it.” I think he’s on a mix of many things. I listened carefully, out of love for this great guy, wanting to figure this out, and it was obvious that Artie now interrupts really fast and innapropriately, even for the Stern show, like a real hoser. there’s also an “edge” and quickess to his comments, blurts, and mostly self depracating interuptions. he’s not having fun. ANYONE WHO HAS “BEEN AROUND THE BLOCK” KNOWS AND RECOGNIZES HIS USING BEHAVIOR. he’s had no affect..like how hosers don’t smile but act exageratedly happy and “into it.”
what i find more usettling is Howard’s coldness, how detahces he seems toward the whole thing, and how he sighs and laughs and says,”I think he’s really just out sick.” I think Howard loves Artie, has let him “in” and is sadly already mourning the loss of his friend.
Robin is an ex nurse and knows what’s up. I’m sure she is sad about this turn of events.
Can Fred and Gary or someone who has seen the downside of the rock and roll lifestyle step up and do an intervention? I think they should have Chris Farley’s brother and Jim Belushi in to tell it like it was.
Check in, Artie. We don’t want to lose you.

I have loved Artie for the longest time and I think he has really taken the show to another level since he’s been there. That said, I have lost almost all respect for him because of his actions lately. I am so sick of his shit. On drugs or not he has really been coming across as a selfish, greedy asshole. Maybe he doesn’t realize that the Stern Show has made him what he is today, because he shows absolutely no respect for it and the people involved. Did anyone hear the news report the day of the gassy smell in New York? Artie said QUOTE “I hate my job.” And then quickly explained himself. Howard would never take that shit from anyone else on the show except for his golden boy Artie. Also if you listen closely to him talking, he is OBSESSED WITH MONEY and it seems like every decision he makes is only about the money. I think Artie should go fuck himself and Stern should move on and replace him before he loses all of his faithful listeners.

Will he even be around for the big game?
If he dies, I hope it’s afterwards, because it will definately be a great game - aside from faggoty Prince.

Just wanted to add that this site is GREAT.
Please Artie, don’t die…

The raspy voice indicates opiate use. It attacks the vocal cords and causes them to relex thus the hoarse, scratchy voice. I know, unfortunatley.
Opiates give one a feeling of warmth, security, and bliss. Everything is OK when your high. The troubles melt away and you are left to believe that you can “deal” with shit. First, psychological addiction sets in–then the physical part. Sorry Art.

Artie is back and he’s giving glowing endorsements
of how wonderful Heroin makes you feel.

Artie’s gonna take a drug test?
BWAHAHAhahahahahahahaha!
February 1st, 2007 at 5:48 am
When howard first mentioned this site, I went on it immediately and figured it’s just a potshot site to mess with Artie, thinkin there’s no way he’s back on the horse. I’m a huge fan of this guy but I really think he’s been getting high again. Especially after hearing the voting on today’s show. As you probably all heard, Howard went around the room asking everyone whether or not Artie’s on heroin or just sick. Benji sits next to Artie everyday and you can hear that thing in Benji’s voice today when he says “There’s something going on.” That thing you can’t exactly define but you can tell it’s truth. I don’t think Benji would believe that Artie’s back on heroin to be true if he didn’t see truth telling signs every morning. And these signs are things that take place as they sit down every morning before they go on air. It’s shitty, Artie’s on drugs. And what seals the deal is Howard. If Howard had said today, “Artie IS on drugs” then a fan like myself and many others would be able to tell right away that Howard’s true feelings would be “Artie’s just sick.” Instead, Howard keeps claiming the opposite, that “Artie’s NOT on drugs” and he says he honestly believes Arite’s sick. Bango, Howard thinks Artie’s on drugs and in his fucked up way of thinking he doesn’t want to say it or it’ll hurt too much. Exaclty like Howard not wanting to get close to Fred because “Fred means too much to him”, he doesn’t want to admit Artie’s on drugs due to the same type of reasoning. Artie’s definitely on drugs again, just look at all the stuff going on in the show lately. This sucks. Artie rules, my favorite comedian by far. Lets just hope he shows up on Thursday, plays Superbowl weekend and kicks ass at both shows, comes back Monday and everything will be fine. But I got a bad feeling that just ain’t gonna happen. Or maybe I’m the one who’s high!? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see……………..
C’mon Artie!!! Prove me to be an overreacting dickhead!
February 1st, 2007 at 6:23 am
We all know that Howard is very smart and aware, and I think he is obviously lying about his feelings about Artie. My theories are… 1) As suggested, Howard is protecting Artie’s FOX show because it will be good for the Stern Show as well 2) He is trying to kick up dust to interest the listeners; i woke up at 6am just to hear if Artie was in and what would happen 3) Howard is working on replacing the baby gorilla and is just protecting him because he loves him
Howard your show is starting to suffer because of this. You need to lay down the law and tell Artie that he has to SHAPE UP OR SHIP OUT; I don’t know how long things can go on like this.

thank gawd artie was back on the show today and is now headed for Vegas. Let’s hope he comes home in one piece or at least gets a piece~
February 1st, 2007 at 11:59 am
We have US Armed Service guys blown up, burned up, legless, armless and shell shocked fighting for the rights of this rich, fat, ungrateful, spoiled, mama’s boy, ginny bastard to snort heroin and complain about how hard his life is. Motherfucker should really have a bad day. You are everything you profess to hate. In my neighborhood we call a guy like you a”fat fucking jerkoff”.
February 1st, 2007 at 12:00 pm
Guys… I can sum up this whole wonder you guys all have and all your accusations with a little message I have about Artie. Okay, here goes:
Do you all remember when the show had the BumLuck girls on the show? This was the first realization when Artie asked the younger Heroin addicted bum from the streets if he knew what “Suboxone” is? And the kid replied, yeah, I’ve had Suboxone before… Artie pulled out the bottle of pills he had? Then everyone on the Air hounded Artie about why he had heroin withdrawl medication. Well, most of you probably dont know what the fuck Suboxone is, but it is a miracle drug, and I currently take it. The drug totally removes any Withdrawl effects, and the “addicted person” can funtion COMPLETELY normally, and does not CRAVE the heroin, nor if they take an OPIATE, (I/V, snorting, etc.) can they get high. It is an OPIATE blocker, that removes allllllllllllllll withdrawl effects. It is simply amazing, and if there is any addicts out there, who are trying to find a way to quit using opiates, SUBOXONE is amazing. Back to my point, if Artie had this medication then, whats to stop him from having it now. Therefore, if he had it now, there is no reason for him to be missing the show, or have any withdrawl symptoms.
So, what I think the listeners should do, is keep on with the positive suggestions, and I think people on the show, should maybe do an Intervention, and not on the Air. Those are really personal, I mean, I know you guys fuck with each other on the show alot, but, it’s a very important thing. Arties life is at stake. Anyway, thanks for reading all this. Artie, if you are back on the drugs, you know what to do from this message. Good luck to you.
February 1st, 2007 at 12:58 pm
Suboxone and subutex are routinely abused by addicts to come on an off of opiates. This is what Artie is doing. It is rarely used for maintanence like methadone. There is no reason why Artie should always have some Subutex on hand unless he plans on trying some “controlled” opiate abuse.
February 1st, 2007 at 1:26 pm
Actually suboxone is used in many cases for long term treatment, in order for people who have trouble staying off the “drug”. It controls cravings. If you want to argue about it, just click this link Suboxone TreatmentOn the subject of Art trying some “controlled opiate abuse”, it’s not that Artie should “always” have the drug, but obviously he knows where to get it, and obviously he has $ to afford it. That is all I’m saying Mr. “wordsofpower”. Thanks.
February 1st, 2007 at 1:36 pm
Understood jopa. I stand by my statement that it is rarely used long term. Only in the most severe cases. It is very expensive even with insurance. And you are right that Artie has the money and the doctor connections to get as much of it whenever he needs it. Therein lies the problem. He can dope fiend even this obvious wonder drug.
February 1st, 2007 at 1:38 pm
Insurance makes Suboxone cheaper where I am from… Where are you from there words?
February 1st, 2007 at 2:04 pm
I meant if you had to take it everyday.
February 1st, 2007 at 2:07 pm
This doctor/”fan of the show” that orginally prescribed Artie his Subutex should have his license taken away.
February 1st, 2007 at 2:10 pm
I don’t know one honest qualified addicition specialist that would prescribe endless subutex to an addict who still drinks alcohol. Artie’s doctor is nothing but a starfucker.
February 1st, 2007 at 2:20 pm
Well the subutex is to keep him off the dope ya know, I mean, I dunno.
February 1st, 2007 at 2:25 pm
Whatever works I guess.
February 1st, 2007 at 4:29 pm
jopa,,,,good post,,,,Suboxone and Subutex are MIRACLE drugs. They can only be prescribed by a doctor that is certified to prescribe it. The doctor has to closely monitor it and you have to see the doctor once a month for your refill for as long as you are on the drug. It is prescribed a minimum of 3 - 6 months and then you have to detox from it. Sometimes it is used indefinitely. It works within 10 minutes of taking your first pill, which is put under your tongue and desolves in about 10 minutes. The first few days you will take Subutex and then for the long term Suboxone.
The drug has only been around for about 2 years will save alot of lives. Before Subutex the only other drug to detox was methadone.
I have a close friend that has been on Suboxone for about 3 months now and he has NO cravings for opiates. His doctor wants him on the drug for at least 6 months to a year. He had been to rehab 3 times in the last 3 years for his opiate addiction which was 20 lortabs a day and was ruining his life. Today he is over 90 days clean and feels better then he has in years. This drug saved his life !!!!
My point being Artie needs to stay on the Suboxone.
February 1st, 2007 at 4:38 pm
It was GREAT to hear Artie again today! I got a bit of a weird vibe though…not really sure what it was. Kind of a sense of concern from Howard…despite the fun they had with the whole incident. Anybody know what I mean? Shoot, I’m not even sure I’m explaining it real well.
All I know…is that to lose Artie would be tragic…and very sad…but no one knows the different events, etc that affect another person’s life and the decisions that they make.
Welcome back Artie…I look forward to hearing about VEGAS!
February 1st, 2007 at 5:08 pm
Ok so Artie is sick. What planet is he on if he is sick? I think he’s wacked out because even sick he could lay in bed and listen to the show! Notice how he didn’t know anything about the last 2 days. He was geeping in the corner not wanting to hear what the guys are saying about him not being there. You would think he would at least listen so he would have something to talk about when he got back. Classic DENIAL!!!!
February 1st, 2007 at 5:24 pm
I think with all the germ phobes that work at that studio..Artie was sick. Howard didnt want Sal coming in and made the statement that if you are sick stay home. With all of the crap they have been dishing out to him lately I cant say that I blame him. Degrading him for wanting to buy a house, making fun of his breathing, poking fun at his eating and weight problem…the list goes on. I know it is the Howard Stern show but its like they have nothing left to do but attack Artie. I will agree that he is depressed..hence the food addiction, which causes his breathing problems and his trouble staying awake. As a fellow food addict I know the constant poking at him only makes it worse.
February 1st, 2007 at 7:41 pm
If I were Howard and the crew, I’d find it damn insulting how refreshed and upbeat Artie seemed towards the end of the show regarding Vegas and the Super Bowl. I thought the guy was just getting over being sick?
Artie, come on. Enough with the gameplaying.
“Artie snorts heroine, Artie snorts heroine…”
P.S.
THANKS FOR PICKING THE COLTS, YOU FAT FUCK! All the Bears fans thank you!
February 1st, 2007 at 9:26 pm
Whatever bigfatblacklady, whats Artie’s supposed to sound like on his way to a Superbowl weekend in Vegas?? Anyone would be pumped to go, if he sounded all sick and shitty instead of “refreshed and upbeat,” it would just sound fake and full o shit. And its also funny how’s u think the Bears are takin it…….not a chance…this is Manning’s time to rightfully take his place as one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history….ALL OUT EXPLOSIVE OFFENSE, they’re beatin the Bears by at least 17 pts. WHooooooooo. And Artie ain’t on drugs!!!!!! He’s just fat and depressed.
February 2nd, 2007 at 7:36 am
If there were ever a time to start a replase, it would be after a week in Vegas!
February 2nd, 2007 at 8:39 am
Here’s the thing. I think Artie didn’t relapse, but may have run out of suboxone (almost the same as subutex) which could throw him into similar withdrawl symptoms as heroin since it is a partial opiate. I recently had to deal with the withdrawl symptoms of suboxone when I ran out of it for a few days and it IS NOT PRETTY. I had withdrawls that are EXCTLY what Artie went through.
I truly think Artie did NOT relapse, but may have run out of suboxone. When he nods out on the show and gets tired, that is one of the main side-effects of suboxone. The only difference is that with suboxone your mind is more clear than if you were on heroin or even painkillers. Suboxone works all day, whereas heroin & painkillers only work for 4 to 6 hours.
February 2nd, 2007 at 10:34 am
eh! I give-a Arrrtie the Pizza Flour AH! He thaink-a its-a the H. Then he eat a meatball sub.
February 2nd, 2007 at 11:27 am
HAs anyone tried calling the Luxor yet, out in Vegas?
Just curious
Chances are he’d not stay under “Artie Lange”, but you never know
Manning = Marino 2
February 2nd, 2007 at 1:38 pm
I just hope Artie and his crew keep it together this weekend….500,000 - 1 odds of Artie getting on that plane home Sunday morning….we need him in the studio….the show is not teh same without him.
February 2nd, 2007 at 3:12 pm
Fat fuck will blow it.
February 2nd, 2007 at 4:46 pm
Yes, the show sucks without him. Although the flip-side is that great conversations occur AFTER he gets back!
Oh Artie, what have you done to yourself?
February 2nd, 2007 at 5:01 pm
I think for some reason Artie is bored with the show and he’s sick of doing the show. Just based on how he has been acting lately saying whatever he wants to howard sleeping during the show.
How can you sleep during the show that is so disrespectfull.
Artie is really funny on the show but i thionk hes almost done with it.
Bob Saget I think would be a good replacement.
Also on another note i have heard that Sal and Benji have received offers from the O&A show to work for them and I HATE THOSE GUYS so i’m hoping they dont go.
February 2nd, 2007 at 5:07 pm
CALLED THE LUXOR AND ASKED FOR ARTHUR LANGE….
So, I attempted a call to Luxor. Got through no problem (number’s on the web). Talked to one woman at the front desk, and I asked to speak to one of the guests at the hotel. She said, “OK, what’s their name?” and I told her Arthur Lange. Then was typing, a long pause, a giggle, then, “Oh, do you mean ARTIE Lange?” ANd when I said yeah, she said “Sorry, we’re not finding anyone here under that name, unless they’re registered under another name”.
SO, I tried…
February 2nd, 2007 at 5:58 pm
Artie Lange has been found dead in his hotel room! Somebody contact Fox News!!!!

Sals sniffin Art’s undies
February 3rd, 2007 at 4:16 pm
Is Artie still with us?
February 3rd, 2007 at 5:40 pm
Hey, you self-righteous fucks, leave us alone, would ya! We’re working through our problems and it’s none of your business what we are, or aren’t doing. Your prattling is like a wife in full yenta.. it only makes things worse. Look we know what we’re doing, we have life under control… so leave us alone! Do you really think your annoying comments are helping us, really??? Cmon. We like yoyos and we’re gonna buy that second house too, because real estate is one of the best investments a person can make. This sound financial decision alone tells you more about our continued good health than anything else you can regurgitate to refute it. So listen up.. GET A LIFE folks.
thank you

February 4th, 2007 at 6:36 am
I’d like to see Artie replaced by a young comic
who doesn’t just ’say’ that he appreciates the job
but who is actually thrilled to be there… and it shows.
I want someone energetic and alive
that doesn’t just sit around in a stupor feeling sorry for themselves.
Fuck you Artie, you pathetic, whining pile of blubber
February 4th, 2007 at 9:59 am
As I sit and type this, Artie is on an airplane flying back to his comfy New York apartment, where he will watch the Super Bowl alone (according to him). ALONE. This is troubling. All the talk of gambling and sports and being a Yankees fan, etc., and he WATCHING THE SUPER BOWL ALONE!!!!!!!!!!! He has no friends? Or is he AVOIDING them????
Artie, please, don’t sit in a dark, dank apartment alone with the blinds shut watching the game all alone. Get Grandma and Grampa Caprio over there to make you a nice meal or something.
GO BEARS
February 4th, 2007 at 3:27 pm
i just wish artie would long into SFN and see all the photoshop of ARTIE it’s so funny I nearly pee my pants
February 5th, 2007 at 12:02 am
I used to love Artie but the past few months he’s become a complete dick. He needs to stop denying what he’s doing. He even makes me want to try Heroin with the way he rants and raves about it constantly.
February 5th, 2007 at 12:37 pm
I don’t think anyone caught it, but on Ferrall’s show Friday night when Artie was on his show Artie admitted he was on Subutect (his heroin medicine). Some one offered him something like a pill or a drink and Artie said no because he couldn’t mix it with his Subutect. Did anyone else catch that?
February 5th, 2007 at 1:10 pm
First of all whoever is monitoring this site, you did a great job starting it but you need to keep it current.
If Artie is taking Suboxone any other opiate that he takes will not work on him. The one of the good things about the drug you cannot take any opiate it will not work.
February 5th, 2007 at 1:28 pm
Artie got some pussy and he sounded totally refreshed and upbeat today (Monday).
Hopefully, with steady action, he’ll pass on the heroine and it be “better than rejuvination!”
We’re with you, Arthur
February 5th, 2007 at 1:36 pm
thebronxmann,
Sorry about not posting today; busy at work. I’ll do my best to keep it current. I have some great ideas and plans to add to the website so keep checking back. I’m going to have graphs that show the changes in the polls over time and some other neat stuff.
